Resilience Insurance Policies

Accepted Insurance Plans

Resilience Center for Mental Wellness accepts the following insurance plans:

  • Medi-Cal: California's Medicaid program, offering coverage for eligible low-income residents.

  • Medicare: Federal health insurance primarily for individuals 65 and older, and certain younger individuals with disabilities.

  • IEHP (Inland Empire Health Plan): A health plan serving Medi-Cal and Medicare members in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Cash Payments:

We also offer cash payment options for clients who prefer to self-pay or are not covered by the listed insurance providers.

Verifying Your Coverage

Before your first session, our administrative team will verify your insurance coverage. This helps clarify any copays, deductibles, or coverage limitations. We recommend contacting your insurance provider as well to confirm your mental health benefits, as each plan varies.

Out-of-Network Policy

If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, you may still receive services from us. Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services. We can provide you with a "superbill" (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider for details on out-of-network coverage.

Copays and Deductibles

Patients are responsible for any copays, deductibles, and uncovered services as determined by their insurance plan. These fees are typically due at the time of each session. Our team will provide an estimate based on your insurance plan, and any balance adjustments will be discussed as billing information is updated.

Payment Options

To make payments as convenient as possible, we accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit Cards

  • Debit Cards

  • Cash Payments

Missed Appointments and Cancellation Fees

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments missed without notice may incur a cancellation fee. While insurance does not cover missed appointments, we strive to offer flexibility within our policies.

Sometimes, therapy services may not be covered by insurance. This can include counseling for personal growth, relationships or couples therapy, parenting or co-parenting support, and sessions required for school purposes.

One reason for this is that billing insurance requires assigning a mental health diagnosis. In many cases, clients seek therapy to work through personal concerns that may not align with a specific diagnosis. Additionally, some clients prefer to keep their therapy completely confidential and choose not to involve insurance.

To streamline your first appointment, we offer online paperwork through our secure client portal. You’ll receive a link via email to complete these forms, which saves you time and helps us ensure a smooth start to your therapy.

We request a credit card on file to hold your appointment slot. It won’t be charged unless there is a no-call, no-show. This helps us reserve your therapist’s time and maintain a reliable schedule for you.

If you need assistance verifying your insurance coverage, please send a photo of the front and back of your insurance card, along with your driver’s license, to info@resiliencecmw.com. Please allow a few days for our team to review and respond.
