Job Responsibilities:

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at the Resilience Center for Mental Wellness, you will:

  • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed professional.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client goals and presenting concerns.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to address a wide range of mental health issues.

  • Collaborate with clients to enhance their coping skills, improve communication, and foster resilience.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

  • Participate in clinical supervision and continuing education to support professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.

  • Current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an AMFT or ability to obtain registration within 90 days.

  • Strong knowledge of theories and principles of individual, couple, and family therapy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer skills.

Licensed Marriage Family Therapist

Job Description:

​

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Supervisor to join our team in Hemet, California. As an LMFT Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our team of AMFTs. You will contribute to the professional development of therapists and ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and culturally competent therapy services to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical supervision to a team of AMFTs, overseeing their caseloads and ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, best practices, and regulatory requirements

  • Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support therapists in their professional growth and development

  • Offer guidance and feedback on clinical assessment, treatment planning, and intervention strategies

  • Collaborate with therapists to identify areas for growth, set goals, and develop professional development plans

  • Facilitate case consultations and provide expertise on complex cases and interventions

  • Stay up-to-date with current research, developments, and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy, and share this knowledge with supervisees

  • Support therapists in managing challenging client situations, addressing ethical dilemmas, and enhancing cultural competence

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to therapists to ensure the provision of quality services

  • Collaborate with other supervisors and leadership team members to enhance program effectiveness and promote a positive work environment

 

Qualifications:

  • Valid California state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LMFT, with a strong foundation in providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families

  • Supervisory experience, preferably in a mental health or clinical setting

  • In-depth knowledge of clinical supervision models, theories, and best practices

  • Demonstrated expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities and interventions

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and support professional growth

  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal guidelines governing the practice of marriage and family therapy

  • Commitment to cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and diversity in therapy and supervision

  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and documentation practices
